Comet. You guys are all a great support. That helped with the healing process. Thanks a million!
Sam. You are too kind. I feel that many of the painters here are much better than me. We all look forward to your dragster gift exchange. I'm already trying to think of colours.
Cheers, Ken

A friend that inspired me to get much deeper into HO, just passed away. I considered Model Murdering (Bill Hall) a very helpful friend. Skillet, myself, and a few others know him well from another HO site (not drag racing). This was the last scratch built HO car he had a chance to post. R.I.P. Bill Hall.

He was a great friend big Ken. Bill added a lot of fuel to my craziness. He's the one who always pushes you out of the comfort zone to try things. I will miss him...

Talked with Bill on another web site. It is a sad day. Hope the afterlife treats him well.

It was hard to concentrate today. Every T-jet build includes some of Bill's basic assembly advice. He will be missed dearly. This may be the start of my first list car. A Tamiya candy lime green '65 GTO.

Same here. He was a prominent member in one of the online forums. Makes you wonder how many times our lives may have crossed in different sites.

Thank you very kindly, Bill and Sam. Trying to keep busy. Still in shock at the loss of a friend. More mindless assembly work to keep occupied. The dark blue Cougar now has a little sister. Both cars started out with bare Dash chassis tubs.

Keeping busy is a good way to deal with grief.

I filled the paint tree with bodies 3-times. I have a lot of chassis to assemble. Bill's passing is a wake up call that everything is time sensitive. Here's last night's efforts. Tamiya Pearl Light Blue.

More chassis have been assembled. Cars are finally being completed. It's about time, eh? The green drag GTO has a road-race brother.

A powerful 24" inch fan from the 70's sitting outside the window does an incredible job of removing fumes very quickly. A small piece of cardboard seals the fan to the window. The plywood plate with the flexible hoses from the window sits beside the shower when the paint booth is not in use.
