Here is some information and history regarding the Kiwi Challenge. It is run like a Match race best of three format. Cars will be randomly matched up. Check out the past races below.

(2) TekPower adjustable power supplies 0 - 30v 0 - 20a. One for each lane.
Trackmate DP3000HO timing system with sensors at 60', 660', and speed trap.

Welcome Racers and Race Fans to Bear Creek Dragway for another great NTRA drag racing event. Classes for this race coincidentally are the same Classes that ran last year minus the Unlimited. Both are popular and should be highly competitive. Bringing back the Inline Comp Mountain Motor Pro Stock from years past again for some track blistering 26v fun. Everybody loves the Tjets so we are running the Tjet Super Stock to fill that need. I will post track records for those Classes before the race. They were both lowered last year and I have not updated them yet. There were some fast passes made for sure. Normal racing format will be observed for those Classes. One Qualifying run in each lane for single elimination ladder placement. Also this will be a Double List Race! Both PSO and 4GO will run 4 rounds instead of two. Shark Pool cars will race each other for an opportunity to call out for a spot on the List. Races will be run from the bottom of the List up. You must win to move up. If you lose your race, you lose your call out. Lots of opportunities for cars to move up (or down). If you have been on the fence about getting into the List racing, now is the time. A fast car could get into the Shark Pool and do some serious damage. There are two open spots on each List right now just waiting for a car to fill them. But the focus of this Drag Race Meeting is........
The 6th Kiwi Challenge
The New Zealand racers are feeling pretty confident after their last big win! So they have challenged the Nitroslots best to another show down in North Texas. The Kiwis have never known what it's like to not have the trophy......the first race ended in a tie, but they have won every race since. All Challenges have come down to the very last race to be decided......until the last meeting which they won decisively. Nitroslots is looking for redemption. It is all set to go down on October 6, 2022. I do not know how many N.Z. cars there will be yet. Anyone that would like to take part can build a car and send it. The Nitroslots cars will be Qualified and the top cars will go against the N.Z. cars. The names of the N.Z. cars will go in a hat and be drawn out for Match 1, Match 2, etc. The same will then be done for the NS cars. The match ups are totally random. We do not know what their cars are running until the first passes. It's on after that. Each pair will run best two out of three and the fastest car wins and puts a point on the board for their team. Team with the most points at the end of the meet keeps the trophy. New Zealand wants to keep it and Nitroslots wants to TAKE IT
! I would rather have too many cars than not enough, but we will do double duty if we have to.
