Carl hosted the race it was his choice and we had zero red lights, we race the pro tree at some of your races and the guys like it.
That being said, Matt you are getting ready to host your first race, after putting all the effort into it and running the race the last thing anyone wants is to be second guessed as to how the race was run. Every track is different, the power supply's, the timing system, the host, and the crew bottom line is the results are the results regardless of who ran the race and how they ran it. I don't mean to seem defensive but I field these #@^*questions every race....Bottom line anything can happen in any race.
It's why we line up and run them !

Calm down K-DOG ,it was a great race ,again no red lights I can to that my reaction time is usally .655 to .789 or I red light every pass no in the middle for old hochallenged! and I think the most entertaining race was when most of the field was crossing the line on there tops, losing wheels ,you just don't no whats going to happen with HO. SO DON'T SHOOT THE SINGER OR THE PIANO PLAYER , JUST ENJOY THE DANCE. got to start my plans for the NEW SS.

Wow, another terrific NTRA race! 440GTX is a very tough opponent and his Hemis are fast. Grumpy was really grumpy after he saw the qualifying results. He must have given the Super Crew a second helping of California granola to work on the tuneup before eliminations.
Dave Strickler was a pretty good shoe, but I owe the driver of Old Reliable a beer (or three) for his holeshot win over Miss Mighty Mopar in the semi-final round. I'll take it, even though I would have liked to see a Chevy vs. Mopar final.
The way my day was going, I expected the two Camaros to crash into each other in the final. The two Corvette team cars managed to do that in the pit lane at Sebring 12-hour -- ouch! At least the little cars did better than the 1:1 race cars.
Many thanks to Carl, Kdog, and the entire PMS crew, Rick V.

Hey Rick two bright yellow Corvettes and they crash in to each other in the pits. Those guy should be racing at Bristol this weekend where that is normal. Rick are those chassis the same ones you ran Mopar bodies on last year. If so does that mean your chevys are Mopar powered. DEMON

Maybe we need to wear BOW TIES ,instead of Blue Ovals ,and RAMS Horns on are helmets? Maybe the SHAKING going on in California is RICK's new engine test facillaty? A bounty, just let the OHIO Mafia contact their Cal. branch ,LIL TONY's cement shoes will work in salt water also.....

It has been brought to my attention that my posts were considered insulting to the people involved in running this race. For that I apologize to each and every one of you.
My question about tree sequence was just an honest question and I was in no way questioning the running of the race or it's results.
My comment "I figured as much" after both cars lost in the semi-finals in no way blamed the drivers or event holder for my loss. I was just expressing my disappointment to loosing to the same person for the 7th time in 5 events. He just has my number and I can't seem to beat him. That just means that I have more work to do.
So once again, I apologize to anyone that was offended by any of my comments. I will try to never let it happen again.
Matt

I wasn't involved or affected................but I appreciate your quick apology. One huge disadvantage of this medium of communication is that it lacks INFLECTION. One can say something entirely innocuous that can be interpreted in a wholly different light. I took your question as just that.........a simple question. In the end, your classy apology lets us all know that we are still family..............KDog works very hard on these events (as all hosts do)............The saeson is off to a good start........after two events, you two guys are really sluggin it out. Shades of Landy vs. Grumpy !!! More, more!

We prefer the Pro Tree here during the Proxy events. It's what our drivers are more comfortable with and there are less red lights. I look at it this way, as long as there are two guys pulling the triggers then it's a real drag race no matter what tree is being used. Either lane has a chance. Kind of off subject but I think some of us have seen the results of a one guy show with jumper wires to the other lane, might as well call it a race after qualifying Anyways I didn't see it as offensive, just curious. Looking back at the semi finals.... Those were some great races! I kind of like the Mopar/ Chevy battle 440GTX and Rick have going and can understand any frustration by coming up a little short. Time for Gassers!!
