Rick, Will the Lions Race Directors be able to give Demon a Breathalyzer test before he fires up his Mopar Pro Stock for our Match race? I'd hate to see him take out your new stands.

Yeah our cars are still here in Fla. also they go out tomorrow. I took them out to the airport to try to find someone to fly them to the east coast. Well all I could find was a DC 9 and two old world war II pilots drinking OLD CROW. I ask them how long would it take to fly our to the WEST COAST and they said one hour. I said no way. Then he said the plane had HEMI engines with NOS. I better stop here I'm getting really high and I'm not in a plane. Hey Rick your high tech grand stands look great but did you have to use a ruler on them. I'm use to sitting in stands that have DANGER signs on them. ;D Well Rick it's good to see your work table has a mess on it. ;D Hey don't forget the PORT A JOHNS. HAVE A DAY

Well guys Richard and my cars are on there way to Ricks track. Got some bad news Psycho and his Henry J missed the plane and won't make the race. But don't worry Psycho's evil brother Jason will be there in his all black 41 Willy's along with Richards KILLER CUDA in the Gasser class. OH don't forget to be at Lions Dragstrip for the MM/PS Match Race of the Year. DEMON'S HEMI POWER VS. SAM'S CHEVY POWERED FORD

The pace is picking up at Lions Drag Strip as the start of the inaugural NTRA World Finals draws closer. Three more teams arrived today, and the pits are getting a bit crowded. The management of Lions Drag Strip has announced a special bonus event during Saturday night qualifying. It's the MM/PS Match Race of the Century, featuring Demon versus Sam. It's Mopar vs. Ford, Florida vs. Colorado, on 27 volts of armature-frying, silicone-shredding power! The winner of this 2 out of 3 duel to the death will be crowned the Lion King; the loser will be fed to the lions. Meanwhile, management regrets that reconstruction of the Lions timing tower is somewhat behind schedule. However, Lou Bidder, owner of Shoddy Construction Co., has vowed that the tower will be completed before the start of the NTRA Finals. Unfortunately, Mr. Bidder is currently vacationing in Acapulco, and will return sometime in December. Of course, there is no need to dwell on the unfortunate misunderstanding between track management and racers regarding he doubling of entry fees and the alleged non-payment of prize money, followed by the subsequent fire of suspicious origin that razed the previous tower. More news to come from Lions Drag Strip. BE THERE! Racemaster Rick

Hey Rick you might want to get a extra piece of foam and put it at the end of your shut down area. I heard Tom had to do some dry wall patching at Phils track because his car left a hole in the wall after a test run with his MMPS with his 6 stage NOS swamper

Hey I sent Psycho over to Phils to fix the hole but it only got bigger. Well you can only do so many repairs with a chain saw.

My gasser will be there, no stocker though. I waited until the last minute to ship it. Spent $22 bucks to have the car be there by Friday. Only $6 to have it sent priority and they weren't positive if it would make it there on time. I've been burned by usps before. Oh well It's only money!

A big day for Phyllis the Mail Lady, who could barely make it up the driveway with all of the boxes in her USPS van. Arrivals today included Bondoman2K, SST1610 (a.k.a., "Big Spender" with $22+ in Express Mail postage!), Demon and Richard, the Ohio Mafia, Wood, Bluegnuoy, and SKR. Along with previous arrivals Eddiebee, Nosubfor3, Fordcowboy, Ninjatek, and Swamper and Tyler, the pits at Lions are filling up fast. Meanwhile work on the timing tower and spectator crossover continues around the clock in anticipation of a sellout for the NTRA Finals. A minor disagreement with the county building inspector, who had awarded the rebuilt tower a Red Tag for Shoddy Construction Co.'s rather creative approach to the building codes, was smoothed over with a case of beer, a promise of free tickets for the entire office, and a liberal contribution to the inspector's retirement fund. The excitement grows as the NTRA World Finals is now only two days away! BE THERE! Racemaster Rick

Rick, You'll need to share some of your secrets for making those structures. I've been wanting to do some stuff for our track. Also been enjoying those nostalgic photos and the build up for your race. Looking forward to the NTRA finals at Lions...

The building and stands look awesome. Yes $22 shipping I went overboard, especially for a car the will most likely run like garbage. I just wanted to make a race.
