Put me in for two in each class although I have no clue as to what they are. I will have to build a few slow ones just to compete. My 4 gears cannot pull a bum out of bed but I have some FC bodies that should fit that class and about 50 bodies that should fit the PS class. How to mount them to a T jet is my problem.

My motor magnets are loose fitting in the chassis. Are we allowed to shim the motor magnets? It is not addressed in the rules.

Got N/FC's ready today..... well, sorted out anyway. N/FC from past races is going to parts dealer. Brand new chassis out of box first pass blew it off (testing at Doug's today). Chassis from Econo Dragster is also faster but not as quick as new. N/PS are next.......... Peter

Spent ALL day in the garage trying to get these things to run fast without a lot of luck. Hopefully they will speed up at Lions. Going to mess around with them a little more before the hauler leaves next week. I have trouble getting the stock builds to respond.

I believe the only chassis we race that shiming magnets constitutes air gaping is the X-traction. Hopefully BS rules will.be gone next season. Sorry, pet peeve ! If you really want to see a stock 4g jump......... use an engineers hammer ! Works for me. ........ Peter

That might be the only way any of my 4 gears would run. I have recently been able to get my 3 gear AFX style chassis flying but my 4 gears are a half track behind, what pigs they are.

Shimming magnets in this respect is just taking up the slack so they don't move. Air gapping is removing material in the chassis to move the magnets closer to the armature? Don't see the BS you refer to. It's obvious that you do not care for the 4gear platform and that is fine. They are not the easiest chassis to work on and AW does not help this with poor quality. But that is what I like about them....the challenge. If it was easy everybody could do it. Who wants easy.......not me.
