Wednesday Update: Two more arrivals today, and Phyllis the Mail Lady is excited about the upcoming race! Ninjatek rolled in with a truckload of trophies and prizes, and TGM2054 has joined the party at the pit gate. Sjracer's hauler is still MIA, and the CHP is issuing an APB.
The pit gate will open at noon on Thursday, and there will be a rush for the prime pit spots (those with an unobstructed view of Jungle Pam and Linda Vaughn . . .) Tech inspection will take place in the staging lanes in the afternoon, followed by time trials and Nostalgia Pro Stock qualifying under the lights at Lions Drag Strip.

Good luck guys. I'm getting ready for our local series and didn't have time to build anything for this race. I look forward to seeing Rick work his magic with the pictures and commentating.

Good luck to all the entries and congrats to everyone for yet another GREAT season!
Health issues for 2014 prevented me from racing however 2015 will be another story.

Good luck to all in the upcoming race. Hope the oil spreader I put under my cars works well. It shoots a jet of oil under my competitions tires if they are ahead of me.

I don't know what time your mail comes but I guess I'm out of the races, I really don't understand how when the postman said Tuesday. Would you consider letting my cars run out of the last spots if they come before race day?
If not, could run them down a few times and just let me know how they compared to the other racers?

I use priority mail to send these light weight items. I have sent hundreds of packages with this method and all have arrived within 3 days and none have been lost. Small flat rate box is around 6.00 with $100 insurance included. The boxes are available for free thru USPS. All you have to do is put the package in your mail box and it is picked up and tracked to its destination. First class is cheaper around $3.00 but nowhere near as reliable and no insurance is included. Packages have also been lost when sending first class... less than 1% however. |

SJ that sucks, that's twice. Did your dog bite the postman? Sounds like there's a problem at the local post office.
There's a ton of work in putting on one of these races, especially the way Rick does it, and with the number of cars that are supposed to show up I understand why he wanted the cars there early. Rick's a great guy he'll make it right. Good luck everybody!
