Here is a chassis I believe we need to run in the NTRA. This is the new Jag DR-1 chassis for drag racing. This chassis will fit any of the 4G bodies from Auto World. It is an inline replacement to the 4G. Now before some of you passout or start throwing rocks at me, listen. I still like the 4G, but this chassis has a ton of potential. New racers will be faster out of the blocks with this setup than any 4G setup and that is a huge plus.

I have a few headed this way. Not sure what the arm resistance is but I think with the exception of Comp and Super Comp they should fit in with the other inline classes already. We will see!

I may be a newbee but considering the technology and years ahead this has versus the the older AFX and J/L 4 gear version these should be in a Class by them selves, New OUTLAW Promod Class perhaps??

Great idea Eagle. We need a class for the AW modern funny car bodies. Does any one know if these fit under a AW Top Fuel Dragster? And also does the hole at the front match up to the Aurora 4 gear screw on bodies?

This is the type of chassis that Aurora, AFX, AW, should have come out with long ago. Why they stuck with the complex 4G setup is beyond me. Narrowing the rear and lengthening the front is by far the best way they could have gone but never saw the light. Reasonably priced at 22.50, Here is the link to the Jag site. www.jaghobbies.com/ho_slot_cars/jag_chassis.htm

I have some ordered and will show them on bodies.

I ordered one today with a few extra parts. Traction magnet are neo and motor magnets are poly. Looks like they offer a 3.5ohm hot armature, but do not list what the stock arm is. I am going to assume it will be in the 6ohm range. They are also showing a picture of what looks to be the Top Fuel version of the chassis that says available 12/28....that was yesterday. Only difference visually that I can tell is no front axle and larger rear tires. Looks pretty cool. I'm anxious to get mine.

The rear axle support looks like it is narrowed to me Jeff.

Great looking chassis, kudos to Jag Hobbies for designing and producing them. I have one on the way as well.

Looks like Jag recently posted new pics at the bottom of the page, and they are showing the chassis under the Modern F/C & T/F Bodies. Looks pretty sweet. May have to step up and get a few myself

The TR3 chassis runs pretty good right out of the box and reacts well to braid being added to the pickups. I posted the stock out of the box performance on my track. Traction magnets are good as are the stock tires. The drag chassis should be similar in performance. The Jag site shows them as available soon. Where have you ordered these from? nitroslots.com/thread/4332/new-jag-jet-inline-chassis

Dave,
Unless they ran out of stock, both chassis' should be available now. DR-1 has been available and the dragster chassis was supposed to be on Dec. 28. There is a DR -1 headed to my race shop. Had to get in on the fun!

Had to get in on the fun! Bill I talked to Jim at Jags last Thursday and they were in the process of updating their website. There are two versions of the DR-1 Chassis. The SB is available now and can be ordered. The DB was to be available for order on Dec28 however that has changed to " Available Soon " Alan

Found the DR-1 chassis. The SB and DB seem to have different size rear wheels. Is that the only difference? One is shown with a front wheel assembly and the other does not have any.

The SB Chassis comes with a front Axle, wheels and tires. The DB Chassis has larger rear tires and NO front axle, wheels and tires. Alan
